Oban has a population of approximately 8140 and is the unofficial capital of the Scottish Highlands. Here you will find a nice contrast of recreational activities and opportunities to relax. A great choice awaits you, you can see many boats, yachts and ferries on the picturesque bay, even take some boat tours to the lighthouse. Alternatively, you will also have the opportunity to go hiking or play some golf.
Inverewe Gardens is a world-famous historic garden and one of Scotland’s most popular botanical attractions. It is located at the edge of Loch Ewe amid the rugged landscape of Wester Ross. Created out of bare rock and a few scrub willows in 1862, it is now a lush, sub-tropical-style oasis.
The Shiants are a small group of islands in the Hebrides, Scotland. There is a large population of seabirds on the isles, including, rumour has it, Europe's oldest Puffin. The Shiants are also the only place in the UK where the black rat (or ship's rat) can still be found.
Stromness is the second most populated town in Orkney, Scotland. A long-established seaport, it has a population of approximately 2,190 residents. The old town is clustered along the characterful and winding main street, flanked with houses and shops built from local stone. Stromness Museum reflects these aspects of the town's history.
Foula is one of the Shetland Islands in Scotland and is one of the most remote islands of the United Kingdom. It is a permanently inhabited island despite its remoteness and has a population of 30. Sheep and pony farming are their main source of income.

St Kilda is an isolated volcanic island group that belongs to Scotland. The islands lies in the North Atlantic. The main island of Hirta, whose cliffs are the highest in the UK. St. Kilda was inhabited at least two thousand years continuously, though the population probably never exceeded 180. Currently, military personnel are the only inhabitants.
