San Cristobal is the easternmost island in the Galápagos archipelago, as well as one of the oldest geologically. San Cristobal Island is composed of 3 or 4 fused volcanoes, all extinct. It is home to the oldest permanent settlement of the islands and is the island where Darwin first went ashore in 1835. A small lake called El Junco is the only source of fresh water in the islands. It is export center for the island's products including sugar, coffee, cassava, cattle, fish and lime.

The Kicker Ork Site is located on the island of San Cristobal which belongs to the Galapagos Islands. This natural paradise is ideal for expedition trips and exploring nature and wildlife.
Genovesa Island is also known as Bird Island because of its extravagant wildlife and diversity of the bird population. It is extremely small in size, and is shaped like a horseshoe in the middle of the Pacific ocean.

Located on Genovesa Island, Darwin Bay was created from a crater and is in the northern part of the Galapagos Islands.
The Galapagos Islands are a good 965 km from the South American mainland and consist of 14 main islands and numerous smaller uninhabited islands. North Seymour is one of the smaller, uninhabited islands and is located to the north of Santa Cruz. North Seymour is known primarily for its colonies of Blue Footed Boobies and Magnificent Frigatebirds.

At Sullivan Bay there are some stunning lava formations and a lava field that was created during a volcanic eruption over one hundred years ago. The beautiful white sand beach however, is still in tact and perfect for a day out relaxing.

The volcano on Fernandina is still active today, and is known to errupt from time to time. The island is home to the Galápagos tortoise - the largest tortoise in the world, which is unfortunately in danger of extinction. The island also accommodates iguanas, penguins and cormorants.

Punta Moreno is situated in place west of the island of Isabela. Along the rocky shores, ypu can see penguins and other birds.
Santa Cruz Island is one of multiple islands located in the Galapagos province of Ecuador. It is known for its volcanic history, and it is the second largest island in the chain after Isabela.

Puerto Ayora is the largest city on the Santa Cruz island and is home to the Charles Darwin Research Station and Museum. Beaches, lagoons and a varied flora and fauna make a trip to the city a special experience.
