Fort de France is the capital of Martinique and one of the largest cities of the island. Fort de France offers many attractions, the famous Museum of banana plantations and the Habitation Limbé tell a lot about the history of the city and the island. Basseterre offers visitors a blend of beautiful beaches, landscapes and architectural reminders of the colonial history of the island.
