Fort de France is the capital of Martinique and one of the largest cities of the island. Fort de France offers many attractions, the famous Museum of banana plantations and the Habitation Limbé tell a lot about the history of the city and the island. Even the statue of the empress Joséfine, wife of Napoleon is impressive. Martinique is typical of the market on which especially spices and fruits are traded. Port Elizabeth is the capital city of the Bequia Island that is part of the Grenadines. The Admiralty Bay, where the city is located, is considered one of the most photogenic bays in the whole of the Caribbean. The bay is surrounded by spectacular green hills, dotted with cute old-fashioned cottages, while the water is full of modern state-of-the-art yachts. Port Elizabeth is as simple and laid-back as it gets in the Caribbean, there are chickens wandering the streets and some low key restaurants and bars along the waterfront.

The Tobago Cays are an archipelago comprising five small uninhabited islands located in the Southern Grenadines. The Tobago Cays are now the key element of the Tobago Cays Marine Park, a national park and wildlife preserve run by the St.Vincent and the Grenadines government.

Soufriere is a town on the southwest coast of Saint Lucia and the capital of the district. Worth seeing in Soufriere are the sulfur springs in the only "drive-in" volcano in the world. Up close you can marvel at a guided tour, the sulfur springs and the now-active volcano.

The Iles des Saintes got its name from the Portuguese seafarer Christopher Columbus, who set foot on the island on All Saints day in 1493 and names it after the holiday. After long battles between England and France over the island group, it eventually officially became part of France in the year 1816.

Antigua is an island in the West Indies in the Caribbean region and it is the main island of the country of Antigua and Barbuda. Antigua means "ancient" in Spanish and was named by Christopher Columbus. In 1784 Admiral Horatio Nelson sailed to Antigua where he found warm, steady winds, a coastline of safe harbours, and a protective coral reef: the perfect environment to establish Great Britain's most important Caribbean base. Over 200 years later the same characteristics that attracted the Royal Navy have transformed Antigua in one of the Caribbean's premier tourist destinations.
