Perth is the fourth most populous Australian city with a population of about 2.02 million people. The city is full of restaurants, cafes and offers a lively nightlife. The city is blessed with numerous sandy beaches, not far away is the Cottersloe beach, where you can not only swim, but also go snorkelling and diving. Albany is a port city in Western Australia and the oldest colonial settlement in Western Australia. As such the city boasts a number of colonial style buildings such as St John’s Church and Albany Courthouse- great for all the history enthusiasts. Also make sure to pay a visit to Albany Heritage park which will be a major hit for nature lover as well as historians. The region also offers a number of vineyards and has a reputation for producing some of the best wines in Australia.

Recherche Fjord is one of the smaller Fjords found to the south of Bellsund, Spitsbergen. It is named after the French cruiser “La Recherche” and it’s history is tied up with the British and Dutch whaling companies.
