The Foveaux Strait is a strait in the south of New Zealand. The three bays Te Waewae Bay, Oreti Beach and Bay Toetoes lie to the north and the Solander Islands, Stewart Island and Ruapuke Island, lie to the south. The Foveauz Strait is particularly important for oyster farming in New Zealand.

Dunedin is New Zealand's oldest city and has played an important role in New Zealand's rich history. The city features a particular combination of culture, wildlife and architecture.
