Cape Town is the third largest city of South Africa with a population of almost 3.5 million and has been the city of the South African Parliament since 2004. Between October and march, Cape Town is a popular attraction for many tourism which is shown by their growing numbers in recent years. This in turn has made Cape town an important economic sector for the country. One of the favourite sites of tourists is the Table Mountain but the city has plenty more to offer. Museums, historic buildings, Castles and the oldest surviving building in South Africa are all options worth considering.

Walvis Bay, 'Whale Bay' in English, is a city and bay on the west coast of Namibia. The city is home to the main sea port in Namibia and is the third largest city in the country. 67,000 people live in Walvis Bay on the Atlantic coast. In the city there is the Rhenish Mission Church, which is a National Monument in Namibia. Outside the city numerous tours and excursions are offered. Besides seals and dolphin tours, a trip to the southern lagoon is recommended. The 5,000-year-old lagoon is Namibia's oldest and largest.

The capital of the Republic of Cape Verde, Praia, is located on the island of Santiago. Santiago is about 990 km² and is the largest of the Cape Verde islands. In Praia, visitors can expect an interesting mix of African and European flair. Fascinating music, great markets and beautiful beaches are just some of the main attractions of Praia. The city's old quarter called Plato is a great place to start and end your day, there is enough to keep you happily occupied.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is one of the capitals of the Canary Islands. The many cafes and seating areas invite tourists to relax and enjoy observing the hustle and bustle of the city. The town's history goes back to the 15th Century. Today it is mainly a modern city, a magnet for both locals and tourists. Tenerife is also home to the third highest island volcano on Earth, Mount Teide.

Arrecife is the capital of the Canary Island of Lanzarote and is home to nearly half the population of the island. In the 15th Century, it was still a small fishing village but it has been growing over the centuries. Local attractions include the sunken crater with a lagoon, the beaches of Papagayo, the Mirador del Rio and one of the longest lava tubes in the world.

Gibraltar lies at the western entrance to the Mediterranean to southern Europe and is bordered by Spain and Morocco. The British Overseas Territory is divided into three parts; The Old City (North Town) is characterized by numerous historical buildings, including the Moorish Castle dating from the 8th Century. In the second part, Southtown, there is the Europa Point. The third part is home to the famous monkeys.
