Rockland is a small city located along the Midcoast Maine region and is identifiable by the port as well as the many historic lighthouses found in the city. Rockland also offers visitors unrivaled views across the beautiful clear waters of Penobscot Bay. Rockland Harbor plays host to the ever popular annual Maine Lobster Festival which includes a host of maritime-themed events. The Rockland Breakwater and Light is another popular attraction which is made up of hundreds of thousands of tonnes of granite blocks which protect the harbor in bad weather conditions.

Sydney is located in Nova Scotia in close proximity to the Cape Breto Highlands Nationa Park, which is a true natural paradise. The sight of the gorgeous scenery coupled with the interesting wildlife will make you have to pinch yourself. The park is home to moose and one can see whales off the coast of the park. The town itself is home to some beautiful buildings and a guided tour through the Old Town is highly recommended!

The Gulf of Saint Lawrence is a semienclosed sea which is an outlet of the North American Great Lakes via the Saint Lawrence River into the Atlantic River.
