Dubrovnik, known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic', is one of the main tourist locations in the Mediterranean. The Old Town and its many sights is the main attraction of Dubrovnik. The Brijuni archipelago is a group of fourteen small islands in the Adriatic Sea, off the coast of Croatia. The archipelago is covered in lush forests and beautiful meadows, you will find rare plants such as wild cucumber and marine poppy here. The year 1983 saw Brijuni become a national park. Since then, only the main islands are open to tourists, like the Veliki Brijun and the Mali Brijun. The latter hosts Ulysses Theatre performances that are staged in an abandoned fort.

Pula is a port city in Croatia. The population is approximately 58,984. The main landmark is a Roman amphitheater, which was built by Emperor Augustus and enlarged by the Emperor Vespasian. It is one of the largest amphitheatres built by the Romans. Also worth seeing is the Temple of Augustus in Pula.

The southwesterly city of Piran, with it's 17,500 residents, is situated on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. The picturesque old quarter of the city, with it's Venitian architecture, is worth the visit alone.
