Dakar is the capital of Senegal as well as the largest city of the country. It expertly combines the modern big city with a traditional African way of life. Carache is a small island in the Bissagos Archipelago in Guinea-Bissau off the coast of West Africa. Its area is just 80km² and there are around 500-600 people living in the two largest villages - Binte and Ampintcha. The locals grow cashews and palm tress, raise pigs, hens and cows and generally, survive on agriculture. Thankfully, the whole archipelago is protected from any natural outside influences, meaning that the earth is quite fertile and the landscape is beautifully preserved.
