Victoria is the capital of the Seychelles, the country's economic, political and commercial centre and home to one third of the total population. Despite all of the aforementioned, it is still one of the smallest capital cities in the world and has a strong provincial town feel. Just like other provincial towns, Victoria has its charm: the beautiful botanical gardens, the busy market, the colourful colonial buildings and the city's backdrop of hills make it well worth a visit.
La Digue is the smallest of the three main inhabited Seychelles islands, its population consists of only 2000 people. There is no airport and only a handful of vehicles but thanks to its modest size, you can easily cycle around the whole island - the journey from one settlement to another won't take you longer than 10 minutes. La Digue is laid back, full of beautiful beaches, green hills and bewitching bays - a real tropical paradise. Although, not totally undiscovered by tourists, there are still deserted bays and beaches to be enjoyed.

Astove Island is one of the Outer Islands of the Seychelles, and is popular for fishing and study of ecology.

Aldabra is the world's second largest coral atoll. Uninhabited and extremely isolated, Aldabra is virtually untouched by humans. It consists of four islets around a large shallow lagoon, encircled by fringing coral reef. It is designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, has about two thirds of the world population of Giant tortoises.
Assumption Island is a small island located in the Indian Ocean north of Madagascar and is part of the country of the Seychelles that have been leased to India. The Assumption Island day gecko, a subspecies of gecko is found only on this island.
Kilwa Kisiwani is a community on an island off the southern coast of present-day Tanzania in eastern Africa. Historically, it was the center of the Kilwa Sultanate, a medieval sultanate whose authority at its height in the 13th-15th centuries AD stretched the entire length of the Swahili Coast. Kilwa Kisiwani has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the nearby stonetown Songo Mnara.
Pemba is an island off the coast of Tanzania. The island is part of the Zanzibar Archipelago in the Indian Ocean. The beautiful coral reefs off Pemba's coast make the island into one of the best diving spots in East Africa. It is ideal for those seeking to get away from the loud tourist crowds that populate the Zanzibar Island, just 50km away from Pemba. The island's green hills, blue lagoons, mangroves lining the coast and its pristine beaches are still very much 'undiscovered'. Highlights of Pemba

Learn all about the Pemba flying fox - large bat indigenous to the island - at the Kidike Sanctuary

Relax in the heavenly settings of the isolated Vumawimbi Beach

Explore the Ras Mkumbuu ruins from the 14th century
