The proximity of the village to the fjord allows for truly breathtaking scenery views, which has resulted in the village of Geiranger being named as a top destination in Scandinavia. Nordfjordeid is a village in the western county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. In the area people enjoy hiking in the mountains surrounding the village, reaching amazing view points of the other arms of the Nordfjorden. Skiing at the Harpefossen Ski Resort is also popular, as the mountains prove to be perfect for lovers of the outdoors. Nordfjordeid is home to the Malakoff Rockfestival, where bands such as The School, Marit Larsen and Animal Alpha have performed.
