Jurien Bay, Western Australian, is becoming a more and more popular destination for families. One of the highlights of the area are the endangered Australian Sea Lions which can often be seen chilling out on the beaches of Jurien Bay. The Amazing Abrolhos Islands and the surrounding coral reef communities form part of Western Australia's unique marine area. The Abrolhos Islands consist of 122 islands clustered into three groups. These are the Wallabi Group, Easter Group and Pelsaert Group which extend from north to south across approximately 100 kilometers of the ocean. The Abrolhos Islands possesses a mesmerizing warm climate being a meeting point for tropical and temperate sealife.
In the Australian state of Western Australia, on the west coast of the country, lies Shark Bay. The name suggests that sharks are often seen here, but this is rarely the case. Shark Bay has a great zoological significance and is home to many endangered and protected animals. Therefore, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage in 1990.

The Montebello Islands are an archipelago of approximately 174 small islands which are located off the Pilbara coast of Northern Australia.
Dampier is a major industrial port in the northwest of Western Australia. The Dampier Port is part of the Dampier Archipelago and has a population of 1,341. At the entrance to the town is a statue of "Red Dog", a red kelpie/cattledog well known for roaming the area in the 1970s and hitching rides to nearby towns. The statue reads "Erected by the many friends made during his travels". Other attractions include the fishing not far off the coast, the most commonly targeted species being barramundi. There is a hugely diverse marine ecosystem around the islands in the Archipelago including whales, dugongs, turtles (Green turtles), coral and sponges.
