Rouen is located about 80 miles inland along the Seine river. It is often referred to as 'the city of one hundred steeples' as stated in one of the poems of the famous french poet Victor Hugo. Although many of the buildings were destroyed during the Second World War, many of the half-timbered houses are still worth seeing. For the architecture lovers the Basilica of Saint-Ouen and cathedral will be a treat with their breathtaking sights.

Honfleur is located at the mouth of the Seine, as it flows into the English Channel. The port city is known for its shimmering light. Many painters used this region in the past as inspiration for for their artwork. One of the attractions, the Pont de Normandie, connects Honfleur and Le Havre. This bridge has a span of 856 m, the largest cable bridge in Europe. Among the attractions in Le Havre are the Church of St. Joseph, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Bridge of Normandy.

Cherbourge Harbor was built between 1776 and 1835 on an artificial island in Normandy. Due to its location, its counted amongst the most important naval ports in France. In the local museum, visitors will find interesting information on the topic of the Second World War. The French port of Brest in Brittany is situated on the extreme western tip of France. The harbor is one of the major naval ports in France. In the city there is an old fortress, from which one gets a good view of the marina.
