Cartagena was founded in 1533 and is located on the Caribbean coast in northern Colombia. The walled Old Town boasts some of the most beautiful colonial architecture in South America with cobblestones and colourful facades. It also happens to be one of the safest places in Columbia making it great for cruisers. Make sure not to miss the San Felipe de Barajas Castle and the Palace of the Inquisition.

The Panama Canal connects the Atlantic and Pacific oceans together. Colón is located in Limon Bay, at the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal and is traditionally referred to as “Panama’s second city”.
