Pointe-à-Pitre is the capital of the French overseas department of Guadeloupe, and thus belongs to the European Union. Together with Martinique, Guadeloupe forms the French Antilles.

The Iles des Saintes got its name from the Portuguese seafarer Christopher Columbus, who set foot on the island on All Saints day in 1493 and names it after the holiday. After long battles between England and France over the island group, it eventually officially became part of France in the year 1816.

Falmouth Harbour is located on Antigua Island in the Caribbean Sea. Picturesque sandy beaches and azure blue water makes this a paradise island. The island belongs to the group of the Lesser Antilles and the State of Antigua and Barbuda. The capital of Antigua is St. John's.

Barbuda is an island in the Eastern Caribbean, and forms part of the state of Antigua and Barbuda. Barbuda is home to the Frigate Bird Sanctuary, which is located in the Codrington Lagoon.

Charlestown is located on the Caribbean island of Nevis and is the capital of the Republic of Saint Kitts and Nevis. The town was built on the protected leeward side of the island and is the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton.

Gustavia is the capital of the French island of St. Barthelemy. Gustavia is a reminder of the past when the island of St. Barthelemy was leased to the Swedish, named after Swedish King Gustav and having characteristic red-roofed houses lining the tropical hills. There is plenty of oppurtunities to discover the history and culture of the island at the Wall House Museum or even just a trip to the lively Le Ti-Marché open-air market. One of the many quiet cafes give you a perfect place to enjoy the stunning views out into harbour.

Road Bay is located in the southwest of the island of Anguilla. There are coral reefs that are ideal for snorkeling.

Prickly Pear is located north of Virgin Gorda and was declared a large part of the national park. This ensures that the natural beauty of the island is preserved. The island is uninhabited but there are facilities on the island for water sports.

Marigot is the main town and capital on the French side of the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. In the city you can see typical Caribbean houses and find bistros on each side of the roads. Despite the hordes of tourists, the city has not lost its charm. A visit is recommended.
