Sibenik is a Croatian city on the Adriatic coast. Sibenik has about 51 000 inhabitants and is the twin town of Herford in North Rhine-Westphalia. A sight definitely worth seeing is the cathedral. Jakova, which is included in the UNESCO of World Heritage List.

Trogir is a town in Croatia and its old town district was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1997 by UNESCO. It is found in Eastern Europe and lies on the Adriatic Sea. The Romanesque-Gothic look of the city centre is well perserved and definitely worth a visit. The historic center of Trogir is built next to a city wall and contains castles, churches, a tower and numerous dwellings, reminiscent of also the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

Hvar is situated in the Adriatic Sea off the Croatian coast and is the fourth largest of the islands there, with a population of 11,500. Hvar is characterized by its lavender and rosemary fields and the many narrow country roads, from which one has a wonderful view of the turquoise sea.

The port city of Kotor lies at the southeastern end of the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. The city is surrounded by up 2,000-metre-high mountains. In 1979, the city was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The 4.5-kilometre-long city wall and the Romanesque Cathedral of St. Tryphon Kotor are among the attractions. Kotor is an incredible historic city with several cathedrals and churches in the older part of the city.
