Seattle is located on Lake Washington and Puget Sound. The city is the largest in the US state of Washington. The unique spirit of the city is widely captured at the Pike Place Market, located down by the waterfront. The Olympic Sculpture Park is a free park full of unique sculptures and offers fantastic views over Seattle and the harbour. Seattle is often synonymous with the Seattle Space Needle which towers over the city. The Tracy Arm Fjord is situated about 70 km south of Juneau. It is about 50 km long and about 20% is covered in ice. Steep rock walls, spectacular waterfalls and glaciers characterize the fjord. At the end of the narrow fjord are the two branches of the impressive Sawyer Glacier. The Tracy Arm surrounding area was appointed a Wilderness Area in 1980, the highest class of natural protected areas of the United States.

Juneau is the capital city of the State of Alaska and is full of natural and cultural attractions.
