Dover is a historical port town in Kent, South East England. The town is located at the narrowest part of the English channel, looking over the strait of Dover towards France. Its spectacular, extraordinary chalky white cliffs are for many immigrants their first glimpse of the UK. The cliffs, along with the imposing hilltop 12th century Dover Castle and its secret wartime tunnels leave visitors awe-struck, with much to ponder long after they leave.

Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland and is fast becoming a European cultural capital. The city is well-known for its connections to the Titanic. The impressive Titanic Belfast opened in 2012 and charts Belfast's rise as an industrial superpower, and showcases the huge slipways where the vessel was built. Belfast City Hall, open since 1906 stands at the centre of the city and on sunny days the surrounding grounds become a popular picnic spot. Wander the waterfront to discover Belfast's stunning Victorian architecture and great spots to eat, drink and listen to music.

Stornoway has about 8000 inhabitants and is the largest town on the island of Lewis. It is one of the Outer Hebrides islands which lie off the west coast of Scotland.

Reykjavik, with a population of approximately 120,00 may not be the biggest European capital, but it is widely regarded as an exciting destination and Icelands cultural and economic center, having been established as a city in the 18th century. Reykjavik provides the perfect base for exploring nearby landmarks such as fjords, glaciers and more. There are strong connections between the city and the Vikings, with many visible signs still remaining today, such as the Longhouse at Hofsstaðir Historic Park.

The fishing village Grundarfjöður is located on the Snaefellsnes penninsula and is surrounded by a diverse landscape. Here you can find volcanoes, glaciers, lava and rock formations as well as various bird species.

Akureyri is a city with an approximate population of 18,000, located in northern Iceland. The city is known for having a stunning natural landscape, which means that there are many opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities. One of the most unique opportunities which can be enjoyed in Akureyri is the chance to witness the Northern Lights between September and April. Akureyri is located at the base of the Eyjafjordur, another example of the stunning natural surroundings.
