Victoria is the capital of the Seychelles, the country's economic, political and commercial centre and home to one third of the total population. Despite all of the aforementioned, it is still one of the smallest capital cities in the world and has a strong provincial town feel. Just like other provincial towns, Victoria has its charm: the beautiful botanical gardens, the busy market, the colourful colonial buildings and the city's backdrop of hills make it well worth a visit.

Cousin Island is a small granitic island of the Seychelles. It is a nature reserve protected under Seychelles law as a Special Reserve. A plateau covered with indigenous woodland extends over most of the island, which is almost encircled by a long sandy beach. The southern coast is rocky. There is an area of mangroves and some small, temporary freshwater pools. A marine park, protecting coral reefs, extends 400 m into the sea from the shoreline.

Curieuse is the fifth largest island in the inner Seychelles. However, due to its size of about 3 sq km, it has no significant infrastructure, which is why few tourists visit the island. Nonetheless, it provides idyllic conditions for snorkeling and bathing.

Aride Island is the northernmost granitic island in the Seychelles and is part of the district of Grand'Anse. A nature reserve, it is leased and managed by the Island Conservation Society of Seychelles. The only human inhabitants are the reserve's staff; currently four Seychellois rangers, two expatriate Conservation Officers and two volunteers. They live in small houses on the south side of the island.

Pointe Noire Grang Soeur is an island in the Seychelles.

Praslin is the second largest island of the inner Seychelles. It lays 45km northeast of Mahe but is nowhere near its neighbour's level of hustle and bustle. The designer resorts, velvet jungle, clear turquoise waters, silky sand and curving hills make Praslin the picture perfect island you'd imagine when you talk about the Seychelles. The island has an impressive mountain range stretching east-west along the centre. Its Vallee de Mai is home to fascinating species of local flora and fauna. Praslin is a grand choice for your Seychelles holiday.

La Digue is the smallest of the three main inhabited Seychelles islands, its population consists of only 2000 people. There is no airport and only a handful of vehicles but thanks to its modest size, you can easily cycle around the whole island - the journey from one settlement to another won't take you longer than 10 minutes. La Digue is laid back, full of beautiful beaches, green hills and bewitching bays - a real tropical paradise. Although, not totally undiscovered by tourists, there are still deserted bays and beaches to be enjoyed.
