Venice is a stunning city which has been on the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage since 1987. With its 175 canals and over 400 bridges, the city is full of character and is waiting to be explored along it's picturesque waterways in one of the many gondolas. St. Mark's Square is a real highlight of Venice, with St. Mark's Basilica being the heart of Venice, a beautiful blend of Venetian, Roman and Byzantine architecture which is sure to amaze all visitors. No matter where you wander in Venice you are sure to find stunning architecture, fine food and unforgettable experiences.

The island of Rab is situated in the Adriatic Sea, off the coast of Croatia . The island is approximately 22km long and has 9,500 inhabitants.

Primošten is a beautiful town on the southern Croatian coast. The town lies on the Adriatic Sea and is home to around 3,000 people.

Trogir is a town in Croatia and its old town district was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1997 by UNESCO. It is found in Eastern Europe and lies on the Adriatic Sea. The Romanesque-Gothic look of the city centre is well perserved and definitely worth a visit. The historic center of Trogir is built next to a city wall and contains castles, churches, a tower and numerous dwellings, reminiscent of also the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

Hvar is situated in the Adriatic Sea off the Croatian coast and is the fourth largest of the islands there, with a population of 11,500. Hvar is characterized by its lavender and rosemary fields and the many narrow country roads, from which one has a wonderful view of the turquoise sea.

Pomena is a fishing village on the Adriatic island of Mljet. Some parts of the picturesque island are protected. The site has a relatively good tourist infrastructure with restaurants serving local food and you can hire surfboards and bicycles. Explore the beautiful countryside of the island on a walking tour or relax on the banks of the Salt Lake Malo Jezero.

Dubrovnik, known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic', is one of the main tourist locations in the Mediterranean. The Old Town and its many sights is the main attraction of Dubrovnik. This pedestrian-only Old Town holds a wealth of attractions from the city, and can be best discovered with the help of a tour guide. Dubrovnik has a very interesting history, including several wars, and this history can be explored from the city's ancient city walls. The main thoroughfare, also known as Stradun, is perfect for relaxing, enjoying a drink in a nearby cafe and watching the world go by.

Tivat is a town located on the coast of Montenegro in the Bay of Kotor. Tivat was well known as a naval base until it was remade into the modern and luxurious marina it is today. It is said to be one of the sunniest spots in the Bay of Kotor, and is rich with history for everyone to explore.

Otranto is an Italian town in the Province of Lecce. There are some attractions that reflect the history of the city including the 10th Century cathedral, decorated with mosaics and marble columns, and the catacombs.

Taormina is a town located on the east coast of Sicily, Italy. The town sits right next to the active volcano that is Mount Etna, there are trails leading to its summit. Taormina was destroyed by the Arabs in the ancient world and had to be re-built in the Middle Ages. The mild climate and numerous attractions such as the Teatro Antico built by the Romans and the beautiful sandy beaches, formed by cliffs dropping to the sea make Taormina a magnet for tourists. Do keep in mind that this resort town is not the cheapest on the island.
