Norway's second city, Bergen is an old Hanseatic city, often referred to as 'the gateway to the fjords'. Bergen has been named as a Euopean 'City of Culture' and is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, providing the perfect combination of historical landmarks and modern culture. The city itself is surrounded by seven mountains, a unique trait which adds to the charm of the city. The annual Bergen International Festival is one of the country's most impressive events and adds to Bergen's reputation of being a 'City of Culture'.

Nordfjordeid is a village in the western county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. In the area people enjoy hiking in the mountains surrounding the village, reaching amazing view points of the other arms of the Nordfjorden. Skiing at the Harpefossen Ski Resort is also popular, as the mountains prove to be perfect for lovers of the outdoors. Nordfjordeid is home to the Malakoff Rockfestival, where bands such as The School, Marit Larsen and Animal Alpha have performed.

The small town of about 2,000 residents in an ideal location for exploring the surrounding area. In summer you can take a vintage train to Bjorli and back. In addition, the place is a popular starting point for a trip across the Troll. From here you have stunning views of the surrounding area.

Trondheim is Norway's third largest city and the country's historic capital. The city is incredibly picturesque, featuring Europe's northernmost Gothic Cathedral, wide streets, numerous museums and Scandinavia's largest wooden palace. Alesund is a Norwegian port town located in the North-West, which owes much of its architectural prowess to the fact that it had to be rebuilt anew in 1904 in Art Nouveau style after a big fire outbreak. The mountain of Aksla is where the best views in town can be enjoyed from. The mountain has 418 steps which lead to the town park. Ålesund is a good base for trips to the surrounding fjords such as the Geirangerfjord

The village lies at the innermost point of the Skjolden Sognefjord and is home to 200 residents. The National Park, which is home to the impressive Breheimen, Harbardsbreen and Sporteggbreen glaciers, is located near the village and promises some astounding sights.

Copenhagen is the capital city of Denmark and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Scandanavia and Northern Europe. Along the cobbled and bike-filled streets you will find a city which is consistently ranked as being the world's happiest, which helps to make Copenhagen a welcoming and unforgettable location to visit. Nyhavn harbour with its brightly coloured buildings and numerous cafés and eateries is a popular area of the city. The iconic Little Mermaid statue is a must-see for many and is located near Nyhavn, along the waterfront at Kastellet.
