In the capital of St. Lucia, you will find one of the finest harbors in the West Indies. A large part of the islands exports of bananas, sugar cane, rum and syrup pass through Castries. Fort de France is the capital of Martinique and one of the largest cities of the island. Fort de France offers many attractions, the famous Museum of banana plantations and the Habitation Limbé tell a lot about the history of the city and the island. Gustavia is the capital of the French island of St. Barthelemy. Gustavia is a reminder of the past when the island of St. Barthelemy was leased to the Swedish, named after Swedish King Gustav and having characteristic red-roofed houses lining the tropical hills.
