Rousse is a port city situated on the South bank of the Danube, Bulgaria. It is the fifth largest Bulgarian city with 180,000 people. Rousse is of great economic and cultural importance to Bulgaria – making it a wonderful destination to explore and learn about the history of the area. Rousse is home to a number of intriguing museums and cultural monuments. This includes Bulgaria’s only National Transport Museum, which lies inside the building of the country’s first railway station. There is beauty everywhere you look in Rousse - from scenic parks to impressive architecture.

Serbia has had a turbulent past, and visitors are reminded of this fact throughout the city, with evidence of bombed government buildings and Communist blocks.

Osijek is the largest city and the economic and cultural centre of the eastern Croatian.
