The Mexican island of Cozumel, located in the Caribbean off the coast of the Yucatan peninsula, has a rich ancient history. Roatán is a Caribbean Bay Island that floats about 60 kilometres north of mainland Honduras. The largest of the islands, it is famous for its white sand beaches and numerous snorkelling and diving sites. Together with its sister islands of Roatán, they make up the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest coral reef in the world, which is home to diverse marine life, such as whale sharks.

The Central American port town of Belize City is divided into two halves by the Haulover Creek, which can be crossed via the manually operated Swing Bridge. In the northern half of the city, tourists can learn about the county's history at the Museum of Belize. The south side boasts colonial buildings, such as Saint John's Cathedral and the wooden Government House from the nineteenth century.

The port town on Jamaica's northwest coast is the second largest city in the country and mixes the old and new. The largest beaches Doctor's Cave and McCatty offer wonderful views and a great place to relax. One of the attractions is Rose Hall, a restored manor house on a sugar plantation, built in 1760.

Of the British-owned Cayman Islands in the Caribbean Sea, Grand Cayman is the largest. The largest city as well as capital of the Cayman Islands is George Town, where visitors would find Cayman Islands National Museum, featuring exhibitions on the islands' heritage and history. The highlight of Grand Cayman is the Seven Mile Beach, which earned its coral beach fame from the 1993 film The Firm.
