On a stop at Progreso, you get off on an extremely long pier... 7km into the Gulf of Mexico! This pier was built a few years ago especially for cruise ships and is one of the newest docks in the area. The city has plenty of shops, restaurants anc cafés, but you could always avoid that and just enjoy the sunshine and sunbathe on the beach!

The Mexican island of Cozumel, located in the Caribbean off the coast of the Yucatan peninsula, has a rich ancient history. Even today, visitors from all over the world flock to the island to observe the religious centre and temples that the Maya peoples built on the island centuries ago.
