Cartagena was founded in 1533 and is located on the Caribbean coast in northern Colombia. The walled Old Town boasts some of the most beautiful colonial architecture in South America with cobblestones and colourful facades. Colón is located in Limon Bay, at the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal and is traditionally referred to as “Panama’s second city”.
