Life On Board

All ships feature a small but well-equipped medical centre with a doctor and a nurse. Medical care is provided for illnesses and accidents that happen on board. Please note that the medical centre is not there to provide ongoing medical treatment and you are encouraged to bring your own prescription medication and other health-related items on board.

Smoking on board is permitted in especially designated areas, such as the starboard half of the Sky Bar open deck and the Seabourn Square. The brand’s expedition ships Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit feature a no smoking policy throughout, due to the fact that they visit pristine environments, whose ecosystems and wildlife have to be protected.

Food & Drink

Seabourn is a member of the prestigious Chaîne des Rôtisseurs society and proudly offers guests one of the best fine dining experiences at sea. There is a wide variety of cuisines available on board every ship and most of them are open-seating venues, meaning you can dine when, where and with whom you wish. The brand boasts all-inclusive cruising, meaning that there is never an extra charge, whatever restaurant you choose, plus complimentary wines are poured at lunch and dinner.

The Grill by Thomas Keller serves mouthwatering steaks and other classic dishes, like Caesar Salad – reservations should be made more than 15 days prior to departure. Check out also the Colonnade, the Patio or Earth & Ocean. In-Suite dining around the clock is also complimentary.

Entertainment

Seabourn offers a fantastic array of onboard entertainment. There is something to suit every taste and you will soon feel like part of the onboard family. Enjoy an exclusive new musical production – An Evening with Tim Rice, or try your luck at the Casino. Spend an evening at the Grand Salon watching a movie, a cabaret show, stand-up comedy or a classical recital. Enjoy a game of Poker at the Card Room and listen to fascinating lectures on history, culture and more at the Discovery Centre. Dance the night away at one of the Evenings Under the Stars, or check out one of the numerous bars and lounges and enjoy socializing with other guests and sipping on a delicious cocktail.

Health & Fitness

Seabourn, together with Dr. Weil, a visionary pioneer in integrative medicine, offer a one of a kind experience – the Mindful Living Programme. You will be part of a holistic spa and wellness experience that integrates physical, social, environmental and spiritual well-being. Enjoy some of the most innovative treatments at sea: massages, facials, beauty treatments, wrap therapy, detox and cleansing. A full-service salon for men and women is also available on board.

Keep up with your fitness regime or start a new one at the Motion Studio Gym. There are professional fitness trainers, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, spectacular ocean views and popular fitness classes, like Yoga, TRX, stretching and meditation.

Cruising with Children

Seabourn is not a family cruise line per se, so do not expect to see special kids’ activities, clubs or menus on board. Older kids will enjoy quite a few of the other activities, though. There are numerous swimming pools and enrichment programmes with lectures and seminars. The Seabourn submarine cruises is a mind blowing experience that is great for everyone, young and old. The vessels are custom built with ultra-luxury in mind, so guests will feel safe in exploring the unknown underwater. The Marina Day is held at select destinations and is filled with various water sports and activities, like kayaks, pedal boats, donut rides, banana boats, paddleboards and waterskiing.
